I saw a brown orb in the road.
It wove around the potholes in the street,
twisted and turned on the asphalt,
passed other pebbles and stones.
A dancer on the black top,
a well-traveled stage,
weaving around and around,
in and out of traffic, with
the wind guiding its spin.
